Further to our November 25, 2009 Parking Update Report, City Staff are addressing some of the issues raised and will further advise shortly.  We will do our best to keep you informed and encourage you to check these web pages often.

In the interim, City Staff have provided a copy of the October 19, 2009 Annual Comprehensive Parking Report which was prepared by Corporate Services for the Mayor and Council.

Report Background:

“City Council adopted a series of recommendations from the Parking Review Committee following a comprehensive review of the City’s parking program within the downtown area. The recommendations included placing oversight of the parking program under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Services. Although a full year of experience has not yet occurred, Council had requested an annual report be presented at Service Analysis. This is the first annual comprehensive report addressing financial performance and operational issues for consideration as part of Council’s annual Service Analysis process”
