My Fair Lady at the Roxy
My Fair Lady Makes Its Triumphant Return.
More than 20 years ago, Owen Sound Little Theatre gave us a memorable production of the wonderful musical My Fair Lady. Now it is time to bring it back for audiences to enjoy once more!
OSLT is pleased to have veteran director Patrick C. Smith, and Brenda Dimoff once again as musical director. We also wish to welcome Clare Preuss as dance coach. Jody Addley ( now Jody Ward) who starred in last season’s The King and I will take on the roll of Eliza Doolittle, and Martin Cooper plays professor Henry Higgins. There is a cast of more than 20, consisting of many long time OSLT members, as well as some welcome new faces.
This story of a poor un-educated flower girl in early 1900’s London England, tells of how she is transformed into a proper lady by professor Higgins. Many memorable songs such as “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly”, “Little Bit of Luck”, and “On The Street Where You Live”, only to name a few will thrill all who come to see this production.
The show opens at the Roxy on November 12th with a Gala Champagne Reception to open the season. If you can come that evening the Gala Reception is a complimentary bonus!
Show dates are November 12-14, 19-21, and 25-28, at 7:30 pm, with two Sunday Matinees on November 15 and 22 at 2:00 pm.
For tickets and information contact our Box Office at 519-371-2833 or toll free at 1-888-446-ROXY. Get your tickets early as I am sure this show will be a Sell Out!
