The Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce “2009 Business Excellence Awards Gala” is being held on Wednesday October 28th at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

The Chamber is still accepting nominations for these prestigious awards.

Recognizing business excellence is easy.  Please take a few minutes to acknowledge your favourite Downtown Owen Sound business by completing the nomination form at http://www.oschamber.com/page.php?id=990.

If your business is celebrating a milestone anniversary, you can also be recognized at the October 28th gala.  The Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce advises that awards are presented to businesses which have been in operation for 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 years and meet two of the following criteria:

• has had the same family name,
• the same company name, or
• operated the same type of business.
