vThe Metro banner, with its 300 stores including 88 newly launched Metro Plus stores, is a leading Québec and Ontario supermarket chain.
The Metro banner aims to fulfill the needs of today’s customers, offering a wide variety of products that includes :

  • Merit Quality Meats, a brand of meat offered through our in-store butcher shop.
  • A wide selection of fresh fish products on ice and personalized service.
  • An extensive choice of cheese and delicatessen products.
  • A truly delicious sampling of breads and cakes.
  • A variety of over 2,000 health and beauty products and some 1,000 biological products are also offered through all the Metro Plus stores and some Metro supermarkets.

Metro supermarket offer some 14,000 products within an average floor space of 26,900 square feet per store. Metro Plus stores have an assortment of close to 18,000 products and average 30,781 square feet per store.
