Located in downtown Owen Sound since 1984, The Ginger Press is a bookshop, a café and a publishing house.

With over 50 books by and about our community in print, our publishing program is a dynamic and vital component of the local scene.

Our cafe serves fresh, homemade lunches until 2 during the week and made-to-order omelette breakfasts on Saturdays until noon.

Readers and writers gather in this comfortable environment to exchange ideas, discuss their latest projects and connect over great books and great food.The Ginger Press is an exuberant centre in a thriving literary and creative community.

Business hours: Monday to Friday 9:30 – 6:00; Saturday 9:00 – 4:00
