The Owen Sound Downtown Improvement Area would like to support programs aimed at helping our members achieve their goals through the ongoing development of key business skills.

In 2009 we will be investigating opportunities to collaborate with business partners and stakeholders and hope to be able to deliver programs (e.g., workshops, seminars, courses) that support some of your every day needs.

Some of you have already told us that you are interested in programs like:

  • Customer Experience Management
  • Window Dressing & Visual Merchandising
  • Human Resources Management for Small & Independent Business
  • Bookkeeping for Small & Independent Business

We will keep you posted (here on our website and through our Newsletter) as this project evolves.  In the meantime, please let us know (at admin@downtownowensound.ca) if there are other relevant continuing education opportunities that you would like us to explore.
